Getting Coffee

How does it work?

In our typical model of cooperation, we help you establish your local presence in Bulgaria, support you in hiring and setting up a team of specialists as per your requirements, and help you with onboarding and ensuring efficient integration.

We take care of all administrative, legal, and operational activities so that you can focus on your product and delivering value while your new team is gaining momentum.

This is done through the appointment of a managing director for the Bulgarian entity who takes care of smooth operations, serves as your primary contact, and provides fully transparent reporting on all company KPIs.

We typically stay on board between 3 and 5 years in order to make sure the team is fully integrated and working efficiently before we hand over operations to you. We are of course open to continuous collaboration or a different timeline, as long as it is in the best interest of the team and the company.

Grow Your Vision

Scaling enterprises leverage remote teams and subcontractors to address resource needs. These approaches are great for the short team. A long-term vision benefits more from sustainable and controlled growth.

Why Bulgaria?

Bulgaria has become a popular nearshoring destination in the past three decades and is trusted by hundreds of companies around the world. The educational system has also adjusted itself to prepare more and better experts in the fields of IT and computer science to satisfy the demand for qualified talent.

  • Access to a large talent pool

  • Competitive rates and salary ranges

  • One of the lowest corporate and income tax rates in Europe (10%)

  • Experience working with remote teams and increasing management capabilities

  • Stable political situation and improving integration with the EU

  • There is little cultural difference between Bulgaria and West Europe or the US

  • Easy travel within the EU and negligible time differences

  • Scalability and time to market

Bulgaria has a proven track record of being a very suitable choice for establishing a remote delivery team.

Business model

We have seen different business models work best for enterprises of different sizes, cultures and backgrounds. It is best to tailor the mode of operation to each case individually.

Embarking on this journey is a long-term decision, and as such, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. We take into account multiple factors in deciding together with you which business model and way of working will be the least disruptive and most efficient.

Exploring the possibilities

A strategic decision to open a branch in a foreign country is not taken lightly. You need to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages and understand well what the decision will mean for your ongoing operations and future growth. Get in touch to explore the opportunities together.

Understand in detail

At this point, we go over all aspects of establishing a company in Bulgaria: legal and operational requirements, office space, access to talent, hiring process, salary ranges, proposed ways of working, and more, in order to better understand the potential but also the limitations and risks.

Address concerns and risks

It is understandable to have multiple concerns - team culture alignment, how you ensure KPIs are met, working with a remote team, communication issues, language, and many more. Before going on we must ensure that these concerns are addressed and all stakeholders are comfortable with the approach.

Comprehensive plan

We treat every such assignment as a company transformation project, and as such, it can only succeed if all stakeholders have agreed upon an implementation roadmap, KPIs, and steps to achieve each goal. We use lessons learned from previous assignments to reduce risk and uncertainty as much as possible.
